All levels gentle flow restorative yoga to balance the nervous system, enhance relaxation and optimize digestion by bringing energy to the organs that support absorption and metabolism.
Digestion is the foundation of health. When we are chronically anxious and operating from our sympathetic nervous system we are in a state that our body recognizes as "fight or flight.” We put healing and digestion on pause. Holistic metabolic health can only occur when we are in our. parasympathetic “rest & digest” and we are releasing enzymes that break down food, assimilate nutrients, and release toxins.
Between weekly yoga sessions the series will include goal setting, lifestyle assessment, and nutrition coaching in a small group setting for community and support.
