Linda Kolton
Plant-based Chef, Culinary Health Coach, Consultant
Linda is passionate about the connection between what we eat and how we feel. As a plant-based chef, food educator, and culinary health coach, she believes that one of the most important ingredients to good health is good nutrition.
From over 15 years as a trained plant-based chef, culinary instructor, and integrative nutrition health coach, Linda knows that being well-nourished can be delicious, uncomplicated, and accessible–and she’s seen how it can transform lives. In her work as the director of an award-winning vegan culinary program, owner of a vegan café, and cookbook author, she’s fed, taught, and inspired thousands of people in the ways of plant-based eating. She works with individuals, groups, and businesses to promote the positive, life-changing benefits of a plant-powered lifestyle.
Driven by compassion for humans, animals, and the planet, Linda runs Kolton Culinary Consulting to deliver culinary health coaching programs, cooking classes, and personal chef services. Her approach enthusiastically embraces the superpowers of vegetables, fruit, beans, and grains for disease prevention and reversal, longevity, and overall wellness.
Linda works with clients who are interested in pursuing natural solutions to wellness, disease prevention, and healing. Through her Culinary Health Coaching (CHC) program, she helps people overcome barriers to eating well for health and enjoyment. Feeling overwhelmed or challenged by a lack of skills, time, knowledge, or confidence can keep people from being well-nourished and feeling their best. CHC is a partnership that helps clients understand their resistance and feelings that prevent them from reaching their goals to create sustainable habits that can result in outcomes like; increased energy; a stronger immune system; lower cholesterol; improved digestion and sleep; normalized blood sugar; reduced food cravings. Through regular meetings, hands-on cooking, and practical skill-building, CHC is and important tool in any wellness routine. CHC can be incorporated into working with healthcare providers and dieticians by helping clients implement dietary recommendations and can also support those navigating food allergies, restricted diets, and challenges related to changing eating patterns.
Linda can be booked to teach health-suppotive cooking classes in person or online for topics that include; global cuisine; cooking for health concerns & allergens/sensitivites; holiday feasts and entertaining; skills training; easy weeknight meals; and much more!
